How to Crop an Image Using Picnik

Picnik is a free web based solution that allows you to quickly and easily optimize your photos as well as resize, add cool effects, drop shadows, frames and so much more. To crop an image down to smaller dimensions…

1. Visit the website: www.Picnik.com

2. Click the “Get Started Now!” button.

3. Click the “Upload a photo” button.

4. Browse your computer and locate the image you would like to upload > select the image by clicking on it one time then choose the “Open” button (or you could just double click the image).

5. At the top of the Picnik editor > click the “Crop” tab.

6. Enter the width and height to the dimensions you want your image to be saved to > then click the Scale Photo checkbox.

7. Resize the crop box by dragging the bottom right corner (or any of the sides) to highlight the part of the image you wish to keep > then click OK.

Tip: If cropping Agent Images, try to be consistent and center the agents head in the image. This will give your Agent Roster a more finished / professional look.

8. To save your image click the “Save & Share” tab.

9. Enter a name for your new image > leave the rest of the settings as they are > click “Save Photo” > choose a location to save the photo on your computer and click “Save”. Now you are ready to add your image to your website.
