How to Add a Page

Pages are generally for content that will not change very often and can be found in the main navigation. Examples of Pages would be: Home, Search Properties, New Listing Notifications, Contact, About Me, etc. To create a new Page follow the steps below. If you wish to edit an existing page, be sure to check out our tutorial on How to Edit a Page.

1. Login to your WordPress Website Administrator. Look for the ‘admin’ link at the bottom of any page on your website.

2. Click the Write link located in the main navigation bar at the top of the page.

3. Click the sub-navigation link titled Page

4. Enter the Title for your new Page

5. Enter the Content for your new Page in the editor.

6. If this page is intended to be a sub-page of another page, then choose it’s Parent page from those existing pages available in the drop down menu. Otherwise, no changes are necessary here.

7. When you are done editing your page, click Publish located to the right of the editor. If you are not done but would like to save your work and complete the page later, simply click the Save button and finish the page at a later time.

8. View your site and check out your new page. That’s it.

Note: If you can not find your new Page on your website, visit Manage > Pages to verify you have selected Publish. You may also want to check if you made the page a sub-page of another page. If you still can’t find it…feel free to contact us, there is usually a logical explanation.
